The Clear Code® or FSB 1233 handle is a universally accessible handle: a handle for everyone, no exceptions. Its appearance, shape, dimensions and material have been meticulously studied to ensure that anyone, regardless of their circumstances, can use it without difficulty.

The Clear Code® handle is a handle designed by PMMT and marketed by the German company FSB. Its design follows the Clear Code Architecture® criteria, the first method which objectively guarantees the universal accessibility of any built environment.
EASY TO USE. Due to its size and shape, it’s easy to use for everyone, including people with disabilities and limitations. Thanks to its geometry and length, people with handling problems can open the door with minimum effort.
EASY TO SEE. Its finish allows the handle to be customised with the full range of RAL colours, achieving a greater visual contrast with the door. In addition, its reverse side is designed to incorporate destination confirmation in Braille to help people with visual impairment to identify the room they are going to.
ANTI-CATCHING. Its size and geometry are designed to prevent possible impacts to people in wheelchairs, children and people of small stature. The return of the handle towards the door avoids the possibility of the user getting caught on the handle.
ANTIBACTERIAL. The antibacterial finish of the handle prevents the spread of bacteria on its surface. The absence of holes or grooves in which dirt can accumulate makes it easy to clean.
