The design of the Clínica Girona, a hospital with more than 80 years of history, adopted universal accessibility strategies that guarantee the well-being of users in the centre's spaces.
This was achieved thanks to the implementation of our Clear Code Architecture® methodology from the start of the design process, which offers all users, whatever their circumstances, a physical environment that fully meets their needs and safeguards their dignity throughout their stay at the centre.
To facilitate the orientation of users in the space, images are used as reference points, signs and directories with Braille, accessible desks on every floor, spaces reserved for users with reduced mobility, signage system with pictograms and written in 3 languages and tactile flooring, among other strategies.
