Biomedical Research Centre
BARCELONA (Spain)
The project is located in the Gran Vía business district, where strategically important research centres and hospitals are located.
The building is designed to house more than 10,000 m2 for research, common services and parking, it’s designed to serve all types of research companies.
The building has a ground floor and two floors with a height of 4.5 metres. All other floors have a height of 3.5 metres. The production floors are designed to support loads of more than 1000 kg/m2, which will allow any type of machinery to be installed inside the laboratories.

These common services can range from common restrooms to specialised rooms such as freezer rooms where different users will be able to place their own freezers adapted to their use.

- Administrative spaces
- Common technical rooms
The building is designed to optimise the facilities to the maximum. That is why it has large courtyards for general facilities and large reserves of space for possible facilities for the different users.
