The Casablanca Public Health Centre is a building that conceives singularity as a synthesis of a formal supportive environment. The proposal avoids formalism, placing functionality and the needs of the users at the centre, approaching it with criteria of modularity and standardisation.
The volume, suspended over the existing walls, is formalised by means of a covering that is sensitive to the different orientations of solar radiation, offering protection to the different spaces and their users. The relationship with the environment, which is fundamental in social and healthcare buildings, takes advantage of the privileged environment to offer a number of indoor and outdoor spaces for leisure, living and social activities.
