Creixell Municipal Market
Creixell, Tarragona (Spain)
The building that houses the municipal market is built on two floors of irregular proportions, adapted to the limits of the site. Longitudinally, it is located as close as possible to the northern boundary to free up an outdoor parking area in front of the building. The project is structured in two functional areas: the municipal market area with the associated support units and the commercial area. Access to the market is via two clearly differentiated points. To the west side of the building there is access to the rooftop car park and the loading and unloading bays. From the market accesses there is a central space with an open courtyard, from which all the stands can be accessed. In the central part, the communications core connects the roof top car park and the market.
