Bechar Hospital
Béchar (Argelia)
The initial approach of the Hospital in Béchar aimed to design a flexible, functional and modern building, in line with the latest trends in hospital architecture, capable of adapting to any modification in its use over time. Diaphanous floors, with an orthogonal grid of pillars that allow zoning of any kind depending on the end use they have to house and help to maintain greater flexibility over time. The modulation of the project gives the hospital great flexibility and the possibility of redistribution.
Likewise, the organisation of most of the surface area on three floors facilitates this programmatic versatility. The distribution and organisation of its circulations, vertical communication cores, floor heights, materials used, location of the facilities, etc., make the new hospital an exemplary facility in its typology, capable of taking on all the challenges the future holds for it, guaranteeing maximum efficiency in its operation.
