Institut Marquès

The design and construction of the new headquarters of Institut Marquès, an international benchmark centre in gynaecology, obstetrics and assisted reproduction, was a challenge for PMMT as the property proposed a revolutionary clinic concept in the sector, in keeping with its values. On the one hand, making the client the centre of the medical activity with a personalised treatment was vital and, on the other hand, building an innovative clinic, reflecting the advanced technological level of the centre and the great dedication of resources by Institut Marquès to R+D+i was fundamental.

With Dr. Marisa López-Teijón and her team, all the spaces that patients would occupy were designed to ensure that their experience at the centre would be unique. The project occupies the central block of the Planeta Building, in the heart of Barcelona's Avinguda Diagonal; a building with an octagonal floor plan and an interior organised in semi-floors around a triple central space. These characteristics make the project even more unique.
