Vithas Xanit International Hospital Extension

The project involved the extension and refurbishment of Vithas Xanit International Hospital in Malaga. A surface area of approximately 10,000 m2 which was increased into a new building of a Basement, Ground Floor (plus 3 more floors) which were completely integrated into the existing building; a single building was the result.

With the construction of the extension and the interior refurbishment of part of the existing building, the project managed to keep the general circulations of the hospital, both technical and public. An intermediate technical floor was generated which aimed to concentrate the circulations and facilities of both buildings. The result is a building with maximum natural light and maximum comfort of the rooms and circulations. The rooms face the sea, avoiding views of the existing building and providing maximum privacy for the patients.
