LA LUZ HOSPITAL BY QUIRÓNSALUD
MADRID (Spain)
The look and feel interior design project of La Luz Hospital is part of QuirónSalud's global strategy to homogenise its healthcare spaces, ensuring that its patients feel that they are cared for by the same hospital group, regardless of the centre they are in. With this objective in mind, PMMT worked on defining the environments of the La Luz Hospital and the Olympia High Performance Centre in line with QuirónSalud's own brand image, which promotes holistic health and the wellbeing of its users.
The project at La Luz Hospital mainly affects the consulting rooms, hospitalisation and lobby areas. The project not only readapts spaces to the group's vision and values, but also aims to humanise the environments, making them more sensitive to the wellbeing needs of users and reorganising the spaces to improve their performance. Through furniture and cladding, we simplify the understanding of spaces and flows. The lobby is designed as if it were a large square, separating the waiting areas from the transit areas, as well as improving visibility in the space, facilitating the location of the various information points and the accesses to the services and vertical cores that lead to the lobby.
