The new building is located on a plot included in the modification of the General Metropolitan Plan, which aims to renovate the industrial areas of Poblenou in a district of emerging economic activities in the information and communication technologies, research, culture and know-how sector. In this context, the image of the new buildings in Poblenou are singular constructions that do not relate to each other or build an urban fabric. On the contrary, this project aims to generate a building that makes a city and converses, through the materials of the façade, with the neighbouring and existing buildings of the district's industrial past. 

The Porta 22@ building consists of a ground floor, 4 upper floors, a basement and a roof terrace and has 5 exterior facades to make the most of natural light. The 4 standard floors are distributed with great versatility and flexibility, allowing different configurations of workspaces according to the needs of the tenant and up to a maximum capacity of 56 workstations.
