The project consists of the construction of a detached single-family house with a swimming pool in Baix Empordà
The house is positioned on the trapezoid-shaped plot, following the regulatory parameters set by the urban development plan of the historic municipality and taking into account the presence of five poplars over 10 metres at the entrance of the site.
On a volumetric level, a compact ground-floor+1 construction was chosen, with a gable roof finished in Arabic tiles, thereby integrating the new home into the urban complex.
The structure of the building is made up of metal pillars on the ground floor and bearing CLT panels on the first floor. While the exterior image is adapted to the materials, colours and finishes of the historic complex, inside the house the perimeter shell of porticoes and laminated wood panels is left visible, resembling an inverted hull of a ship.
