On Carrer Pamplona in Poble Nou, at the gates of 22@, the PMMT Office is part of the fabric of a creative and innovative Barcelona, modern and full of companies. The old brick building used to be a biscuit factory and has now been designed as an office to create the working dynamics that generate a productive collective intelligence. At the same time, it is a flexible space, adaptable to the needs that arise as the company grows. Fifty percent of its 460 m2 is dedicated to work desks, an open-plan space with no marked spatial hierarchies. It encourages the cross-cutting nature of knowledge, communication and collaboration between the members of different teams and departments. The walls serve as panels on which to draw, write and hang different architectural or research projects, in which team members are working on.

The other half of the space is composed of a library, a printing area, the office with its foosball table (it serves as a canteen and is versatile to host large meetings and brainstorming sessions), the conventional meeting rooms and the more relaxed Slow Meeting Room (with sofas and comfortable textures and lighting), the Silence Room (to work in isolation, concentrated and without interference) and the Brainstorming Room. The office is also a showroom for our products and philosophy. On the one hand, it is designed according to the Clear Code Architecture® criteria for universal accessibility: it incorporates a ramp, a tactile-foot ramp, a magnetic loop, a fully adapted bathroom and inclusive signage, among others. It also applies the Friendly Materials® methodology, which guarantees the healthiest possible materials for the occupants of the workspace. Our office is a reflection of our way of thinking and doing, an ecosystem in balance.
