A proposal is made for the urban and socio-economic development of the Pont Reixat industrial estate in Sant Just Desvern, located between several major roads, most notably the Carretera Reial and the Avenida del Baix Llobregat.
One of the objectives of the proposal is to create an area that will form the backbone of a future pedestrian connection between Sant Just Desvern and Sant Joan Despí over the B-23 motorway, in order to generate new flows and channel current ones.
The proposal, as well as contemplating alterations to the trees, street furniture, façades and ground floors, includes the projection of new buildings, one of which is particularly relevant as it takes on the role of a landmark within the project. This is located on the corner where two main streets meet, and its height and shape are in dialogue with RBTA's emblematic Walden Building.
