Barcelona Clinic of Regenerative Medicine (CBRM)
Barcelona (Spain)
The new Barcelona Clinic of Regenerative Medicine is conceived as a private speciality hospital with a high resolving level and a benchmark in Barcelona and its field of influence. The new Clinic is a new state-of-the-art, forward-looking hospital, which has become an iconic building for the city of Barcelona. It will have outpatient and inpatient services for the medical and surgical specialities of dentistry, rehabilitation, traumatology and plastic surgery, supported by an anaesthesiology unit. It has a modern surgical block, equipped with a powerful post-operative resuscitation area. It completes its offer with high-tech diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, and an apheresis unit, unique in private medicine in the city. All this gives it a high problem-solving capacity and patient care on an outpatient basis with non-invasive surgery, but with the possibility of hospitalisation if necessary.
In addition to its role as a benchmark clinic in private health care, the new centre is also conceived as a comfortable and high quality facility that projects an image of service of the highest level. Finally, the New Clinic is also envisaged as a singular and iconic piece of architecture, which should interact with its immediate surroundings and with all the other elements that make up the urban environment of the district of Sarrià and Barcelona.
In its conception, Clear Code Architecture® criteria has been applied, such as the implementation of accessible desks in the reception areas of the main services, tactile paving from the entrance of the building to the main reception desk and ground floor lifts, adapted toilets on all floors, wayfinding and inclusive signage, among other features.
