The proposed building for the new Hospital has a rectangular ground plan measuring 132 by 202 metres. The Hospital presents a staggered volume, ranging from 4 to 11 floors above ground.
By means of a superimposed enclosure of horizontal slats, like skin, the building is completely enveloped, generating an umbraculum around its perimeter, which works as a bioclimatic design adapting to the different orientations.
As a result of all the conditioning factors of the architectural design, a hospital machine of precision, strict, modular, compact and efficient is projected that presents the image of an urban organism, friendly, caring and adapted to its surroundings.
